I'd also love to learn languages, and I'm planning to start studying Russian and maybe Japanese next autumn. I have a cat called Jura but I actually prefer dogs to cats, we just don't have any dogs right now.
Beautiful landscapes are always welcome, also animal (but I prefere animal cards that show some animals that are typical to your area, I'm not so into cat and dog cards), cocmic and art postcards, or what ever you can think of. If you can find a postcard that is related to manga or anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Kyo Kara Maoh, Nabari no Ou or Shugo Chara, please send me one!:)
