Hello,
my name is Stella and I am 62 years young.
The most lovely thing about postcrossing is to make someone -anywhere in the world- happy with a postcard about a subject that has his/her interest.
I am a tailor by profession and I am curious about everything that has to do with my profession in all countries of the world: fashion, design, textiles, buttons, machinery, wool, silk, textile in householding, knitting, needlework, fabrics, embroidery, original wedding traditions etc. Oh Japan...I adore your calligraphy, your kimono's and woodblockprints: Hiroshige, Hokusai and much more artists of ukiyo-e.
All countries of the world: show me something about your tradional wedding(clothing).
In nature I think the penguins are very cute and funny and butterflies are for me the most colourfull and beautifull. I collect Barbiedolls and other fashiondolls and everything about the Bayeux Tapestry.
I do not like postcards with animals and the traditional tourist postcards with buildings and bridges etc, and I do not like self made cards on a piece of paper, sorry.
I like the stamps too!
I think it is a challenge for you to find something that makes me happy and a challenge for me to make you/the other one happy. When I receive a nice card, I have a wonderfull day.
