Hello everyone! I'm a Russian living in Finland, so I try to combine the two cultures in myself. ;) I’m really fond of learning new things about other countries and people, and exchanging view postcards is one of the ways to do it. There are some postcards which bring especially much joy into my life. Those are the cards showing:
- sights;
- historical places;
- traditional clothes;
- ceremonies;
- wild animals specific to your country;
- trains;
- ships.
So, if you can send me something of that kind, you may be sure that I'll appreciate it a lot! If possible, do NOT send me handmade / advertising cards though. Thanks!
I'm always up for private swaps. Just let me know what you're interested in and we'll arrange something. Oh, and penpals are welcome too, I'm crazy about writing long chatty letters and making friends all over the world. :) My interests include foreign languages, reading, photography, psychology, sports, world affairs, cultural exchange. I will be especially happy to hear from fellow language teachers and translators, from people studying Russian and/or Finnish, from those who are genuinely interested in the world around them and are always ready to explore and learn something new.
