My name is Alicia. I live right outside Washington DC. I love the area with all its history and beauty. I work in a bookstore and love to read. I have been collecting postcards since I was really young.
Postcards I really like:
-cards that have something to do with the city or country it is coming from: famous sites, traditional dress, traditional food, traditional buildings, castles, famous people, natural wonders, landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, sunsets, sunrises.....
-UNESCO World Heritage sites
-Maps
-Cartoons or drawings
-Moomins, Mauri Kunnas, Petsson & Findus
-Inge Löök's old ladies
-Anything to do with books especially children's book illustrations or literary characters (especially Alice in Wonderland)
-Turtles
-Space
-Casinos or anything to due with card games especially poker
