About splendid87...

Friends,

Very excited to be a postcrosser!
My name is Dan Yu, 'Kurt', Kurt is my English name, my bosses and colleagues call me that; I'm 25 and live in Shanghai, China.

I don't have much time & money to travel abroad (by now only been to Singapore and Italy), so I think by sending and receiving postcards, I can make up for this loss, partly of course; I mean, cards with some words and greetings on them, from a stranger, travel thousands of miles and get your residence, very encouraging and pleasant, right?

I'm a sports & music fan. A solid supporter for Italian Serie A soccer team S.S.Lazio and NBA basketball team Dallas Mavs; In weekends, I usually watch games of Premierleague, Serie A and Bundesliga; Weekends with soccer are true weekends.

And bands interest me - Scorpions, Rammstein, Suede, Green Day, Stratovarius, and eternal X-Japan....Film "scorer" - Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone...New Age musicians - Yanni, Kitaro, Kevin Kern, Maksim, Secret Garden...Classic - Brahms and Beethoven..Amusingly, I'm learning violin currently...it is my true dream that one day I could perform it in some open ceremonies.

For postcards? The following four themes are perfect:

- sports
- movies
- music
- cartoon

But generally, all cards will be warmly welcomed!

And fellas, try to write something more than "greetings" and "best wishes", something like the song or music you love, sports or pop or film stars you adore, some exciting things happened to you or in your area, the book you would recommend me to read or even your constellation, see, lots of things could say; you know, a mostly blank card is a bit boring, I wrote many things on the cards I sent; I feel like talking and learning without seeing people, haha, many thanks!

A new interest of me after one year and a half participation of this project and my trip to Italy - with the precondition that you prefer to send card in envelopes or you have to do so for certain reasons, could you please add some coins of your country with low value? I appreciate if you do so, but relax, that's just a bonus for me, or a informal wish, not request, let's enjoy this awesome project for its original meaning! Haha!

Happy postcrossing!
