About Ulla...

Hi, fellow postcrossers, nice to meet you!
I'm Ulla, I'm 49 and live in Münster, Germany.

A real bookworm I am, love visiting museums, bookstores, libraries, and old cemeteries, and enjoy photography.
I collect postcards of angel statues on historic cemeteries, these old sculptures are very romantic.

I enjoy a lot of things in life and ever since I'd been a little girl have loved postcards showing my favourite things so I can keep them close to my heart in pictures from different corners of the world: I adore

books or bookstores or libraries or
hands or
pencils or crayons or
letters or mailboxes or
hearts or
bright colourful things or
lavender or
angels of all kind or
snow globes or
sea shells or
stones or pebbles or tiles or
lighthouses or the ocean or
royal families or
everything about the swedish pop group ABBA or
sweets or cakes or chocolate or
coffee or tea or fruits or food or
spices and especially
those colourful pigments you can find on markets in Asia or
hamsters or pandas or owls or
children's book illustrations or
Lali riddle cards or
the Moomins or Krtek or
Kotovasiya Cats or
Jetoy Cats or
ilustris cards from Poland.
And of course all those wonderful postcards I've discovered in the public gallery here on the postcrossing site and which you can see in my would-make-me-happy wishlist:

Black & white cards I always enjoy very much, especially these which are printed in black and white but have one single colourful spot: colour splash cards.

And I have deeply fallen in love with the illustrations by Virpi Pekkala and Inge Löök, they are so charming! So if you are from Finland, maybe you could send me a card by Virpi or Inge?
That would be absolutely fabulous, thanks a million :-)

Getting a postcrossing postcard is always such a sweet surprise, every time it is a precious moment! And writing and sending cards is a wonderful pleasure, too! I absolutely love this project.
It's even sweeter when the cards are written on and stamped. Please feel free to write anything that goes through your mind when sending me a card, I love reading what you write!
Please add the date when you are writing.
And I always enjoy interesting stamps :) thank you in advance.

If possible, please don't send me touristy multiview cards, I'm just not so very fond of them.

Also no ad and no free cards, please.

Happy postcrossing everyone, I'm looking forward to hear from you and also look forward to sending you a card once I draw your name.
Liebe Grüße, greetings from Münster,

Ulla
