About Petr...

Hello,

I'm 30 years old and I live in Plzeň (Pilsen, Czech Republic) with my wife. I work in a book store.

I like reading science fiction books (especially Isaac Asimov and everything with robots) and I also like watching science fiction movies and TV-series (Star Trek, Firefly, Doctor Who, Futurama, Red Dwarf, Star Wars etc.).

I am also interested in military history, especially various kinds of fortifications. I travel a lot with my friends to visit as much bunkers and fortresses as possible. I prefer 1930's - 1940's fortification systems (Czechoslovak fortification, Maginot line, Atlantic wall etc.), but we also visit older fortresses made of stones and bricks.

You can send any kind of postcard, preferably not in the envelope. My favourites would be:

- any bunker, fortress or castle
- pictures of your town and landscape, interesting places of your country
- pictures related to my favourite beverages - tea, coffee, wine, beer, whisky - or your local special beverage
- old cars and motorcycles (I have an old Jawa motorcycle from 1961 myself)
- military aircrafts and vehicles, war memorials and museums, famous battlefields
- sci-fi and fantasy motives, space exploration
- any card from Corsica - I visited it once and I love this island

My wife would enjoy cute animals, especially rabbits :-) You can always look over my favourites to get the idea what cards I like. But you can send any card you have of course :-)

Please write something about you or your town. You may also write something in your own language, it would be fun. I no longer collect stamps, but I do appreciate nice and extraordinary stamps on the card.

Private swaps are always welcome, I'd be happy to send you card or two.

Happy postcrossing! :-)
