Here is the sound of the Middle Age!!!

Welcome to `Good Old Germany´!!!

I come from the beautiful over 1.000 years old imperial city of Quedlinburg in the near of the Harz mountains.

Quedlinburg is the ´STONY HEART´ of Germany and has about 22.000 inhabitants.

The town was founded in the year 919.
The 1st German king Heinrich I. was crowned this year here to the king by the German Empire.

Quedlinburg stands on the UNESCO-world cultural heritage list and has approximately 1.200 half-timbered houses from 6 centuries!!!

I also love postage stamps! If you could use interesting and pretty stamps, I would really appreciate the effort. More stamps are better. THANKS!!!
