Welcome to my profile!

My name is Julianne and I'm 20 years old. I live in the cosy municipality of Venlo (in the south of the Netherlands), in the village of Tegelen. The name of the glacial era of Tiglian (part of the Pleistocene) is derived from Tegelen because of the many fossils found there from this era in the local clay.

At the moment I'm studying Art and Culture (study how the modern west culture become like it is today)in Maastricht. It is my second year.
I work as a volunteer for Greenpeace.

My hobbies are Postcrossing, reading, travelling, go to festivals, hanging around with friends and listening to music.

My favorite bands and artists are: Mumford & Sons,Snow Patrol, Graffiti6, the Script, Paolo Nutini, Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer, Two Door Cinema Club, Ed Sheeran, The National, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Will and the people, Babylon Circus, Selah Sue and a lot more :) Love to know more bands!

I love art. My favorite painters are: Vincent van Gogh, Klimt, Jan and Charley Toorop and Degas.
I love to watch french movies (Micmacs, Rien a Declarer) and the Tv-programs Project Runway and Pushing Daisies.
I really like the Russian churches (like Saint Basil the Blessed Cathedral), so I love to see one in reality one day. I've been to Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, UK and Canada.
My dream is to visit as many countries as possible, especially in South-America.
