About Sarah...
My name is Sarah, I'm a stay at home mom and love to travel. My son's name is Andrew. I've always loved getting postcards wherever I go, cheap souvenirs and asking people to bring me them back when they travel.
A twitter friend was always linking her postcards and my son had to send a "flat Andrew" through the mail for a school project and he got a postcard back from Houston. I thought this might be fun to do. Something for he and I to do together.
I am an avid knitter, love to bake and taking the family out to explore and travel. Andrew loves to travel but he also loves to build towering cities - or cars - made out of lego with Andrew and his dad and star wars.
As for postcards? We love any kind. City scenes, flowers, old postcards, handmade postcards rock as well and are fabulous. My son - Andrew - loves animals, trains and cars so if you have any of those laying about, feel free to send them! You can address them to him instead of me or to the both of us, this is something I'm doing for the both of us. He also loves seeing the different stamps. Please no postcards in envelopes, half the joy is seeing the postmarks and the beating that it's taken on it's way to us. Each wrinkle and crease tells a story!
Do you have a pet? Tell him about your pet on the back, he likes to read about other peoples pets. What's the temperature and weather like where you are? Tuck that into a corner, it's always nice to know. Got a recipe that will fit? Put it on there! We like to try new stuff and cook!
If you send a postcard, eventually - when we get it - It will be marked down with a red dot on a large map on his wall. So help my son learn about your town/city/country and become a member of the world. We welcome direct swaps as well, these are always fun and if you include your return address, we'll send you a postcard in return if you want! (not required)
Love
Sarah & Andrew Stewart
