Hello, my name is Shujian. I'm currently serving my compulsory military service in the Army, and I intend to study Life Sciences at the National University of Singapore after completing my service.

I joined postcrossing to meet people from around the world, learning more about foreign culture, sights and scenes, and dream of one day travelling to these places and see them with my own eyes.

My hobbies include nature photography, particularly insect photography,DIY Biology, robotics and insect collection. I also have an interest in cosmology and tissue engineering sciences.

I like postcards depicting nature, such as landscapes, seascapes, forests, mountains, canyons, snow, beaches, plants, flowers, animals, insects and so on.
I enjoy looking at such photos and I hope someday I can visit these places :)
I would also be happy to receive any kind of postcard you would send me. If you like photography as a hobby, Hand-made postcards with photographs that you have taken on it would be very very welcome. It would be nice to include a greeting in your native language(together with a translation of course ;))

I would love to learn a few things about you and your country:
- How does your house and neighborhood look like?
- What are the types of food that you eat on a daily basis?
- What are some of the must-see places, must-eat foods, and must-do activities when a tourist visits your country?

Of course, the space on a postcard is limited, and I am sure that there is much more to know about your country. If you would like, you can write down your contact information on the postcard and I will contact you :)

Currently, I intend to pick up Japanese as a third language. If you are Japanese or know Japanese, I would be really interested in exchanging some Japanese language materials with you, in return for anything that would be of interest to you! :)

As a huge fan of Japanese anime, manga, visual novels, games and pop culture, it would be a pleasant surprise for me if I were to receive a anime-related postcard or stamp!
