I grew up outside Chicago, and after moving around the country a bit (most recently Pennsylvania), I'm back here with my family. I've worked in human resources, but for the past 15 years I've stayed at home with my three children--two boys, 16 and 14, and a girl, 7. My husband is a professor of psychology.
I enjoy music, and sing and play the flute. I also play a little piano and guitar. Some of my hobbies are knitting, rubberstamping and making jewelry. When I have the time, I love to read, and my favorite author is Jane Austen. I've always loved animals, and we have 2 dogs and a cat, 2 parakeets, a frog and an aquarium.
I would enjoy any type of postcard (including handmade), maybe something offbeat, artistic, vintage or a beautiful landscape. If you have a favorite quote, I'd love to read it. Or, I'd be very happy if you wrote a few words in your native language.
