Hi! I am a native New Yorker currently living in Cambridge, MA where I am a stay-at-home mom to a delightful almost-4-year-old girl. I was thisclose to giving away a full shoebox of unused postcards (acquired when I was traveling as a student in my younger days) when I came across this site. So naturally I signed up right away and here we are!
When I have a bit of free time, I like to curl up with a good non-fiction book or check out new restaurants with my husband. I'd like to learn Portuguese, especially since we are planning to enroll the little one in a Portuguese immersion program.
Feel free to send any kind of postcard you like. As for what to write on your card, I have a few ideas:
- an interesting factoid or bit of trivia
- a bit of wisdom or advice you'd like to share with my little girl
- the title of a book, movie, song, etc. that has left a lasting impression on you
If you are artistically inclined, a little drawing would be nice and appreciated too!
