I have lived in many places around the United States as well as a short time in Japan in the 60's, as I was married to a person in the Air Force. I've always come back to Tucson--it appears my roots are here!
I'm retired; enjoy reading, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with my dear friends. I love old black and white movies from the 1940's era and playing games on the computer--I'm really hooked on Mahjong! I also love watching baseball games on tv and naturally my favorite team is the Arizona Diamondbacks.
My favorite postcards would be those with:
native/wild animals
flowers
landscapes/mountains/water scenes, as in lakes, rivers, etc
pets...dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.
hearts
giraffes
Christmas, whether it's holiday season or not
your hometown/country
beautiful buildings
bridges
nature
But actually, anything that you choose to send me I would treasure; learning about you and what you do is what interests me. Also, to the postcrossers in the UK, please send stamps with William and Kate on them...the most beautiful couple of this decade! And those of you in The Netherlands, I would like the Postcrossing stamp.
My constant companion is my 13-year-old chihuahua, Paco. He is very smart, even listens to my phone conversations so that he knows when someone is coming to visit "us"!
