My home is located in the Sonoran Desert in Phoenix, Arizona valley, in a town called Tempe, home to Arizona State University.
My hobbies include walking and hiking, going to the seashore (the Sea of Cortez in Mexico is only a 4 hr drive) and examining tide pools, reading mystery and spy novels.
My husband (an archaeologist) and I (a retired librarian) enjoy traveling here in the United States and abroad (England, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Germany, Poland, Mexico, Canada, and Costa Rica).
We like to birdwatch; this area is on the migratory route for many birds in the United States.
