About Erin...

Hello! I am Erin, 31, social worker in Brooklyn, New York USA. I work 2 jobs, one with Meals-on-Wheels (and the elderly), and one with the court system (and families). I like both jobs.

I believe in treating people with kindness and respect. We are all basically the same deep down, regardless where we are from. Postcrossing reminds me of that every day. I believe in building my community and taking care of each other.

I love plants and my home is full of them. I wish so much I had a garden outside to grow and develop, but outside space in New York is hard to come by.

I love postcards AND stamps. They are a unique reflection of your culture. I love to travel and meet new people and learn about other cultures.

My favorite place to spend time is the beach. In the summer, I go to the beach almost every day (after work of course- it's 15 minutes from my house). I also go to the beach in the winter, even when it's cold. It is where I feel most peaceful.
