* = with Special Pictorial Postmark!

Hi,

Greetings from India! And THANKS to each one who has sent me a postcard.

My hobbies include philately and stamp collection. Please avoid prepaid postage labels, instead use stamps from your country while sending.

Kindly try to use beautiful commemorative (philatelic) stamps for postage, as much possible :) Do you have a post-office nearby that offers any special postmark? If yes, please try to send your card from there! Thank you, in advance.

I prefer written cards sent inside envelope (if not expensive or inconvenient for you) - it is less likely to get damaged in transit. My local post-office often likes to postmark it on the picture side of the card before delivery :-( So an envelope definitely protects!

Postcard on any theme or subject is fine, EXCEPT advertisement or hand-made ones. The only exception being ad-cards of beautiful airliners, which I love :-)

Show me your city/country, or wildlife/birds or beautiful flowers through your postcard. I also like aircraft, trains or ships. And also, view cards or tourist attractions or natural phenomena from your place. Or, a card that could make me laugh :-)) A maxim card would absolutely delight me any time!!

But don't worry, I will like any other card you send!

And kindly WRITE something on the postcard -- describe what it shows, how is your life or what did you do today or a joke - avoid sending me blank card. It's the thought and sincerity that counts. To me, a blank card feels almost "lifeless"!

Also don't hesitate to drop me a message for private swap.

European Senders: If you use any of the Europa Astronomy stamps of 2009, it would be amazing! Thank you.

Australian Senders: If you use any Australian Railways Journey Stamp (issued 7 May 2010), I would be delighted! Thanks.

All: "Preserve the polar regions and glaciers", was a big, common theme for 2009 for many Postal Services. Did your country issue a minisheet or stamps for it? If yes, and if you use it, I shall be grateful. Those issues look amazing :)
[India Post released its stamp for this on 19/12/2009].

Have a great day!
