Hello!

I live in a small rural town in north-west England. The town is small but has lots of historical black and white timber buildings. Unfortunately, my house is not one of these! The town is surrounded by lots of beautiful countryside and wildlife.

I enjoy reading, long walks in the countryside with the dog, travelling to unusual places, geocaching and learning about new places and people - postcrossing sounds like a great hobby to do this!! :) Please tell me something interesting and/or unusual about where you live.

I love to send and receive postcards and often send them to friends and family. I am happy to receive any kind of postcard although I really love postcards showing birds or wildlife native to your country, or local countryside or dramatic landscape views. I am also happy to receive postcards showing where you are from or of local things of interest (old buildings or ruins, castles, bridges, interesting structures, city or countryside views, cultural interest or customs). I have a great sense of humour so anything funny is fine too.

Please - no envelopes or self-made cards :)

(and if you could write the date on the postcard that would be great. I can't always read the postmark)
