About Sally...

Hi, my name is Sally Layne.

We live in a 150 year old fachwerk house on a Texas homestead.

I am 66 years old. I have been happily married for 43 years. We have a son, daughter-in-law and a daughter. We have a grand daughter, born 24 August, 2010. Jennie is one year old in the photo. We lost our other son 9 years ago to cancer.

I love animals. I raise llamas and have pet dogs, cats and a rabbit. I love music (classical, jazz, blues, almost every kind except metal), books (many kinds), nature (sunsets, lightening bugs and rain).

I am a Christian and love liturgical worship particularly Orthodox.

My business allows me to work from home in an industry that I love and that helps me stay healthy.

I have collected postcards since I was a small child. I have a photo postcard of my grandmother that she had sent to her cousin over 100 years ago. The stamp was a penny.

I like beautiful cards, but I don't think I have a favorite type of postcard. I would prefer no advertisements unless it is unique and special in some way. I would like to know about you and would appreciate hand written and stamped cards. I have also collected stamps since I was a child, so I love beautiful stamps also.
