About Carolyn...

25th January 2010

Dydh da! Fatla genes? (Good day! How are you?)

I live on a farm in the countryside a few miles from the city of Truro, married with a son 8 years old. We keep a suckler herd and followers, they are mostly the traditional British breeds like Aberdeen Angus, South Devon, Hereford. We have recently taken delivery of a pedigree Aberdeen Angus bull. Gestation of a cow is approx 280 days. The calves will be due in October. My picture is of heifer Julia, she is so proud of her first calf. I know all the cows by name and since I've been with Postcrossing I've named heifers after certain Postcrossers! We also have one goat, some chickens and bantams, three cats and a dog.

My favourite cards (these are suggestions, don't worry if you don't have the following)

- Animals and birds native to your country
- Cows
- Night views
- Recipes, food, chocolates, confectionery
- Dinosaurs
- Maps
- Views of where you live
- Very tall buildings and structures
- Flags
- Lighthouses
- Churches, cathedrals etc
- Castles
- Aerial views

I would very much like to receive more recipe cards and my son is fascinated with very tall buildings so that would be great too.

I prefer cards approx 6x4 in size(for storage purposes)

I like cards from Finland but if possible please can you send me something other than snow, forests, fields and lakes, don't worry if you can't. Perhaps you have a card with a nice building on it.

If you are in the USA I like cards with the name of your state on the front of the card if possible. Also I'd be very happy with an Obama card.

If you are in China I would love to receive a Great Wall Of China or a Panda card.

I have cards travelling to:-
