I live in a beautiful country town on the south coast of Western Australia.
The love of my life is my 5 year old Maltese/Bishon terrier called Buddy.
For the bulk of my working life I was a prison officer. I am now a support worker at the local hospital, and hope to retire in 2013 to pursue my love of travelling.
I was a volunteer for an animal welfare society, caring for abandoned dogs until they could be re-homed, which was very rewarding.
I live 5 minutes from the beach (by car)and enjoy walking, crosswords, receiving emails, photography, travelling and music.
I like postcards:
depicting where you live
waterfalls
sunrises/sunsets
colourful cards
animals (especially cute ones)
anything water related
beaches
night scenes with pretty lights
I am not fond of cards with old historic buildings-they are drab and colourless
Please no homemade cards & none in envelopes.
I register my cards the day I receive them, so if I haven't registered, then I haven't received.
