Hello!
I'm Riitta and I live at Pihtipudas, a community of 4500 inhabitants in a rural setting, 140 kms north from Jyväskylä, Central Finland. I have two lovely grandchildren. I like hiking, picking berries and mushrooms, working in the garden and living at our holiday cabin by a lake.
I hope I can receive cards depicting local sights, beautiful natural sights, national parks, nature parks, animals in your country,flowers, birds, royals, people at work and people dressed in typical national festive clothing. I like art very much, especially Vermeer, van Gogh, Monet, Klimt, Schjerfbeck, Edelfelt, Järnefelt, Gallen-Kallela... Also Martta Wendelin, Rudolf Koivu, Inge Löök, Virpi Pekkala, Carl Larsson, Rolf Lidberg... Chinese and Japanese flower and landscape paintings are wonderful. And I'd like to learn to know artists in other countries, too. Reading books is also my hobby. Got any tips of great novels?
