I like being with people, keeping myself informed about what's going on in the world and doing something about it (e.g. volunteering). I like spending my summer days hiking in the forest or reading books outside in the sun. In the winter I love to sit in front of the fireplace, have some hot chocolate and knit or crochet something nice.
I enjoy learning languages and it's going well. During my years in high school I've learned 9 foreign languages altogether. Don't expect me to be fluent in all of them, though ;-)
I will be happy with everything that lands in my mailbox but my very favourites are cards depicting landscapes, wildlife, people in traditional clothes and symbols from different countries. Animal cards, interesting photo shots and handmade cards are more than welcome. Beautiful stamps are also very much appreciated!

You can write to me about anything you like: your country (landscape, sightseeings, your hometown) or yourself (hobbies, what you have done during the day), some aphorisms or quotes ... Whatever crosses your mind! Just as long as you write a bit more than just a sentence or two. And you could teach me a few phrases in your language :-)
