About Mari...

I´m 23-year-old girl in Finland.

I live in Kankaanpää, a town about 12 000 people. I live with my husband, a dog (bostonterrier, she's in my avatar), three cats, two fire belly newts, two achatina fulica (="snails") and we also have aquarium. I've also studied animals. So as you can see, animals are big part of my life.

My husband has succeeded and make me to play playstation games. I like disgaea series, shadow of the colossus, dragon quest 8 and final fantasy. And surprise surprise, I have now started to play Tokio Jungle :D

I collect Hugh Jackmans movies, photos etc. (I´m a really big fan of his!) and I like to watch movies and anime (also read manga) like Wolf´s rain, Rose of Versailles, Howl's moving castle, Naruto, Full metal alchemist, Totoro, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (silverfang, Hopeanuoli..) are one of my favourites. I´m also very interested of Japan and japanese. I have started to study japanese and I´m now starting to remember all the hiragana..

I am not a traveling person myself. My home is my palace and I love nature. I grew up in country side, a small town of 2000 people or less, when my closest neighbour (if you doesn't count the summer visitors) was about 1km away. Friends even more far away. I played in forests and fields with my brothers when I was a kid. So no, I don't feel home in cities or with lots of people. That's why I appreciate if you can send me cards with my interest, nature or something "calm". :)

It´s nice to have some other mail than bills. I would like to read what you people think or know about Finland. Or you can tell me something of your favourites; which book or movie you like? Maybe quote of this book or film or lyrics of your favourite song? And if you can send me a card of my interests I would be very happy.

So my interests;
- Animals, it would be expecially nice to receive a card of bats and reptiles. Also if you can send a card with scorpion I would LOVE IT!
- dragons and werewolves
- anime and manga (expecially Ginga Nagareboshi Gin) would be really nice
- moon and night sky, beautiful nature and so on
- Hugh Jackman of course
- celtic (like cross, weapons..) and american indians
- PLEASE send me a Halloween card if you can. I so like Halloween theme with pumpkins ghost bats etc.
- Birthday cards on my birthday (20.5.) would be nice surprise.

Sorry, but I still have to add that if you could write in japanese (romaji and/or hiragana) with translate I would be really happy. It would help me in my studies.

And if you can send me a card of a japanese dog breed called Kai Ken I would jump out of joy! Of course other japanese breeds are welcome and I must add boston terrier ´cause I got one myself :D
