She has been a member for over 2 years (967 days). When you send a postcard, PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE ID NEAR THE EDGE OF THE CARD OR NEAR THE STAMP. Please put it somewhere near the middle of the card. When your Postal Service cancels the stamp and the US Postal Service puts their marks on the bottom of the card, it is often hard to read the ID. But if it is in the middle of the card, I can read it!
I am slowly scanning in the postcards I have since I have received several duplicates and some triplicates. Finnish and American Postcrossers in particular, please check out some of the more popular postcards I have received so you can send me a different card! Finns: A Kaj Stenvall card would always be appreciated! You can see the cards I have received at http://www.flickr.com/photos/campkewanee , http://www.flickr.com/photos/campanawanatwo and http://www.flickr.com/photos/campanawanathree/
Now on to nicer things! :)
Hi, My favorite types of cards are tourist views (I prefer city and town views over landscapes), cards that advertise movies and music, cards that are just beautiful from a photography point of view regardless of the subject (Herb Ritts, Ansel Adams, Annie Leibovitz, ...), cards that show theaters, health related cards, political satire ... I would prefer not to get cards that show animals, are handmade or are reproductions of paintings or sculptures. If you have any questions, send me an email before you send me a card!
I am trying to collect cards from every country in the world so if you have view cards - preferably of cities - from the former Soviet Union Republics, Central Asia, the Middle East (I have Bahrain, Israel, Egypt), Central America, most of the Caribbean Islands, Africa (I have Egypt and South Africa), South America (I have Brazil, Chile, and Argentina), and the Pacific (I have New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea), I would really really appreciate it! The card could be mailed from anywhere in the world!
