About Rilda...

Hello,

I live in a country city in South Australia & have two sons & a grand daughter.

The picture above is one of my water colour paintings.

Usually I sell postcards BUT not the ones sent to me by Postcrossing people.

At the moment I am taking a break from selling postcards on Ebay where I trade as 53possums.

YES ... I will enjoy ANY postcard you choose to send to me.

My favourite topics are
- WWF postcards
- WILD birds, animals, reptiles etc
- TAXIDERMIED birds and animals as seen in Museums
- cars, motorbikes, boats, aeroplanes, trains, trams, buses
- frogs, lady birds, insects, butterflies
- landscapes & seascapes, light houses
- AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIALS in France, Belgium & other countries

Other special requests
- Orkney Islands - where my FOULIS ancestors came from
- Senj, Croatia - preferrably unused .... for a friend
- Wolpertinger from Bavaria - preferrably unused ... for my youngest son

Multiview postcards with lots of images are NOT my favourites.

All postcards, except for private swaps (see below) & special requests (above), I will enjoy having written on & stamped.

I look forward to hearing from you very soon.

PRIVATE SWAPS ....I am looking for NATIVE & WILD BIRD & ANIMAL postcards from ANY country, only ONE species on the postcard, a LATIN SPECIES NAME (so I can find a common name in English), posted in an envelope, with NO personal writing on the postcard.
Please may I have a note from YOU on a piece of paper!!

I'm also interested in LIGHTHOUSES with no name on the front.

PLEASE put your name & address in ENGLISH on the back of the envelope as I get quite a few packets of swap postcards.
