Happy New Year 2010 to all of you out there.
Female, 31 year old, love reading, history, science, nature and writing. I am originally from the Czech Republic, but live in the USA for more than 7 years.I have 2 sons and a husband. My dream is to travel around the world but for now I just have to watch pictures, read books and look forward to the postcards I will get from Postcrossers.
I would like to receive a postcard from your home town or area, multiview or single view, like a picture of a landscape, natural wonder, famous building, a nice map postcard of your area and such.. Don't worry if your place is not famous, I am sure that even so it's interesting. I would like to see where you live whether is on the other side of the globe or just on the other bank of the Hudson River.
If you don't know what to write, here are some ideas:
- what you do for a living
- why should somebody go to visit your town/country?
- your favorite vacation
If by any chance you would have a postcard from any of the big American or Canadian national parks or US states map cards, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please know that I am greatful for any card you can select. Just the thought that you take a minute from your busy life to choose, write and send a piece of mailto somebody on the other side fo the globe is awesome.
