About Peter...

Hi,

My name is Peter, I am 31 years old and I am a seminarian. A seminarian is someone who is preparing for the Roman-Catholic priesthood. That preparation consists of study, an intensive spiritual life and a community life inside the seminary building. The preparation takes 7 years. 6 years of study and one practical year, and in this last year you will receive the Deacon ordination and in the spring of that year you will be ordained as a priest.
I am in my third year now. In this year I have to study a lot of languages: Latin, ancient Greek and Hebrew. Focus is also on philosophy, which I find very interesting.

When I have some time off, I like to go to the gym to stay fit, I also like penpalling (snailmail and e-mail) and photography. I am very interested in other cultures and history. Beside the languages I mentioned before I am trying very hard to learn Polish.

When it comes to postcards, I have two preferences:
- Cards with churches, monasteries or other religious buildings on it.
- Nature cards especially cards with mountains on it.

I will send cards that were made from my own photographs.

Oh and I have one request! Please put your card in an envelope, because what you write to me should only be read by me and not by the curious woman who distributes the mail inside the seminary! I am sure you will understand this request!
