About Anna...
Hi there!
My name is Ania. I'm 22 and I live in Tartu (though Iäm currently staying in Jõhvi), Estonia.
I've finished my BA studies in English language and literature, and I'm planning to continue with my Master's. I work as a freelance translator and I live with a Persian cat called Lars, whom I absolutely adore!
I like learning foreign languages. I've studied Spanish and French for a year and fell in love with everything connected with those two cultures.I would also like to study Polish as well (my dad is Polish and I thought it would be a nice idea to learn the language of my roots).
I am a blogger at LiveJournal.com. I've been keeping my electronic diary for almost 5 years by now. I also like writing short stories and articles, and my perfect dream is to have my own column : D
I like listening to music, reading books ("Yanush Vishnevsky's "The loneliness in the NET" is on my bedside table at the moment), and going out with my friends to a cafe or the movies. I love watching films: Vicky Christina Barcelona is my personal favourite for now : )) I'm also a fan of the Sex and the City (both the series and the movie), and other shows such as Friends, Gossip Girl, and Desperate Housewives.
I love getting mail! I'd be more than glad if u sent me a postcard showing something typical to your country which would seem unusual and interesting to foreigners...tell me something about the traditions and customs of your country or just write your favourite quotations or tell me about songs, movies, paintings, food, etc. that have made a difference in your life ; )))
I like postcards with city views (especially the lights of night cities), animals (cats are my soft spot), beautiful buildings and people. I'm also fond of fine art and artistic postcards are also welcome : )
Anyway, a card from any corner of the Earth will make me smile! : )
Happy Postcrossing and greetings from Estonia!
xoxo

P.S. I've recently been to Helsinki, Finland; and found a place where they sell the best postcards ever! I guess the store was called 'Forum', and there's some kind of a gift shop next to the Fazer cafe. So, I thought that if you happen to be from Finland, maybe you could choose a card from that shop for me (A)(A). Thank you in advance!
