My name's Alex, I'm 26 years old and open-minded towards other cultures and languages.

I'd like to collect postcards in several languages (I speak German, French, English, Italian as well as some Spanish, for any other language I'll try to get a translation afterwards, but I'd like to get authentic cards, even if this means languages that I don't know, like chinese alphabet, for example) from ALL over the world (cards with handwritten text on the back with as many sightseeing hotspots as possible, such as buildings, castles, rivers, monuments, specialities, nice views, regional maps or other typical content on it, please no kind of fun cards that you can buy everywhere or cards with teddy bears and similar stuff!).

I'd love to have cards from most countries one day, if possible.

I will send nice viennese postcards, or cards from an interesting Austrian region, or my selfmade card in return! For those of you who don't know anything about Austria, tourists typically think of Vienna or Austria for Mozart's birthplace (city of Salzburg), the city where they taste "Mozartkugeln", "Apfelstrudel", "Salzburger Nockerln" and "Sachertorte" (specialities), where you can visit Stephansdom, Schönbrunn, Belvedere, the Riesenrad (old ferris wheel) and so many other nice places and monuments. I'll try to send most beautiful cards with nice views of Vienna.

I think the idea of postcrossing is wonderful and therefore, I'll always register IDs of cards I'll get asap. I can only hope that those who receive my cards will do the same.
