She has been a member for over 1 year (691 days).I'm 48 years old woman and to my family belongs 6-years old twins (two sons) and my dear husband. I love reading detective stories and quilting.
I'm collecting postcards and that is my hobby. I have always loved to look at pictures and to see different views to life and to it's wonders.
My favourite postcards are paintings (fine arts) of 1800 and the beginning of 1900 with items like: reading, woman or child in the garden, woman knitting or sewing, near the water (pier, bridge), walking on the sea shore, water, sea, road or path. Mostly pictures with harmony and peaceful atmosphere.
I'm also interested in: angels, stones, space, mountains.
One special enthusiasm I have towards old postcards (antiques and old fashioned), which often are very beautiful. It doesn't matter at all, if the postcard has been written and sent once already - on the contrary. Of cource, in postcrossing one must send used postcards in an envelope.
Also my family likes postcards, such as: football, trains,buses, aeroplanes, lego, Star Wars, robots etc.
We are very grateful to get a postcard and it is nice to get contact with other postcard-lovers!
