Konnichiwa!

My name is Motoki. I'm a 28-year-old geek, studying aesthetics and modern art history (especially German Expressionism in the 1910s and Realism in the DDR) in graduate school. Every weekend I work at a local art museum as a part-time librarian. I live in Saitama, the 10th largest city in Japan, about 30km north of Tokyo.

My hobbies are reading (classic novel, philosophy and Manga), listening to music (German pops), watching movie, traveling overseas... and spending relaxing time at a museum, bookstore or cafe.

In addition, I'm interested in Scandinavian design (e.g. Arabia, Iittala, Hackman, Marimekko, Royal Copenhagen etc). If you are from a Nordic country, please tell me what kind of tableware or mobile you use in daily life.

I love getting mail and I'm looking forward to receiving picture postcards of your hometown, landscape, building, museum, cathedral, artwork, monument, traditional arts&crafts, vehicle, factory/plant, local food, namely anything goes! Also handmade, self-printed cards or letters are welcome. I'm not picky. (though I will be very happy to receive postcards of a famous architecture or world heritage in your country, if possible :)
