About Erin...

I am 29. I attended medical school until I got pregnant with my first son in February 2004. Now I am fortunate enough to be able to stay at home and take care of my two very active boys. I plan to finish my medical degree when both my boys are in school. My husband is a Biomedical Equipment Repairer in the United States Army. We have been married since April 2003. I have lived in Maine nearly my whole life but have been living in beautiful southwestern Florida since October 2008. I love it down here but am constantly amazed by the number of people who don't speak English. Sometimes I feel like I am in another country! I need to learn Spanish but, unfortunately, I find learning other languages very difficult.

My hobbies are reading, watching movies, playing video games, shopping, crafts, swimming, and collecting. I collect pressed pennies, stamps, postcards, kawaii, pencils, magnets, trading cards, used phone cards, and gift cards. I also would love to receive any photo brochures or anything written in a language other than English. I love to swap and I am a very active member on swap-bot.com.

I prefer photo postcards with city views, buildings, monuments, temples, or famous landmarks on them. I also like map cards. I do not like postcards of animals, art, strange, or handmade cards. ~Pretty please~ send the postcard in an envelope, if possible. It is okay, however, to write a description on the back telling me about the photo/your country (otherwise please leave blank). I do not like the weathered/beat-up look that they arrive in when mailed "naked". Plus, I like to save the stamps from the envelope separately.

So far, I have sent 2 postcards that were never marked received by the recipients.
