About David...

I am a year into Postcrossing and I have generally been pretty happy with the post cards I have received. It is always a surprise to see what might be waiting for me in my post box. As I have collected postage stamps for many years, I appreciate many of the unique and different stamps that have been adhered to the post cards- Thank-you. I am finding I am enjoying the post cards as much as the stamps!

I operate a greenhouse in Jerome,Idaho where we grow annuals, perennials and hanging baskets I have been in this industry for over 20 years and love it.

I really like some of the old b/w post cards I have been reciving which portrays life in the late 1890's and early 1900's. It is always cool to take a look at buildings, people and automobiles during this time period.

When you send a card (and have time) I would like to see a corner of your world (past or present)If I were a guest and you were showing me around, where would you take me? What would I see? Would it be in the country or the city? Would it be an important historical place,a beautiful park or something fun and whimiscal? I have enjoyed many of the responses I have gotten to these questions.

So far my favorite post card is a turn of the century post card of Paris sent to me from dorsz. Thank-you very much. I look forward to receiving your card!
