My home is now Phoenix, Arizona, in the Southwestern corner of the US. Summer temperatures here routinely rise above 110ºF/43ºC. The stark and dramatic desert scenery however, is simply spectacular.

I work as financial manager for an insurance company. I love books, movies, traveling, hiking, etc. I'm a big travel buff and have been to 90 countries at last count. (Was it W Somerset Maughm who said that he was "of a roving disposition"?)
