I live on the west coast of Finland and work as a nurse at the local hospital. I don't travel that much so postcrossing is my way of keeping the aeroplanes flying. I sometimes worry about the environmental effects of postcrossing but I just love it too much to stop...
I'm happy to receive any kind of card but I'm not into ad or homemade cards :)
Here's my wishlist to help you:
*Leendert Jan Vis, Mutts, Hello Kitty, Garfield, Peanuts, Krtek (Myyrä), Sheepworld, Dark Dudes & other comics, illustrations and childish stuff ;)
*Finnish things: Kiroileva siili, Kaj Stenvall's Ducks, Martta Wendelin, Rudolf Koivu...
*health and nursing related cards - also ad cards
*babies (esp. Anne Geddes)
*old things, like reprints of old ads
*history & politics
*wild animals (esp. meerkats)
*sunset/sunrise (esp. pink & purple views)
*city life (I prefer single views but I'm not picky ;))
*dramatic scenery
*anything else that tells me something about your country (art, monuments, people)
*surprise me!
You can see the most of my received cards in Picasa (see 'website'). I don't collect stamps but of course I enjoy receiving beautiful and interesting stamps.
