About Noora...

LAURA FROM UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS: I received your lovely card, but it doesn't have an ID at all. Please send me a private message with the ID in it so I can register your card!

----

Hello,

I'm a university student and my major is new media, but I love studying languages (feel free to teach me something in yours!). I recently got back from an exchange year in China. In my free time I like to take photos, travel (of the cities I've visited, my favourite right now is Taipei, though I love Amsterdam, Berlin and Beijing too) hang out with friends, read a book or close my eyes and imagine.

My favourite cards would most likely have pictures of

- bicycles
- soap bubbles
- umbrellas
- people passing by
- graffiti art
- drying laundry
- telephones
- street signs
- post boxes
- cameras
- autumn
- clouds and sun shining behind them
- still water
- ballet
- gay or lesbian couples
- Neil Gaiman's Sandman
- anything violet/purple (not flowers)
- anything black and white

If possible, save your flower cards and touristy multi-view cards for someone else as I don't find them as pretty as other types of cards. Also, I think that animal cards are lovely, but I prefer people and inanimate small objects. But seriously, any types of cards are appreciated - for me the aspect of postcrossing I'm most interested in, is hearing about new places. Also, I have nothing against ad cards as long as they are pretty and relevant to my interests, and what comes to self-made cards - I find it amazing how some of you have time and energy to make your cards by yourselves.

I prefer my cards written (I can also read Chinese [普通话], German and Swedish and I would love to receive cards written in these languages to improve my language skills) and without envelopes. If you don't know what to write, you can always draw me a picture of a giraffe or tell me the recipe of your favourite food.
