Thank you everyone for all the wonderful cards!

My name is Eleonore or Ellen for my friends. I live nearby the little lake "Bostalsee" in the border triangle of Germany-France-Luxembourg.

During summer the region is visited by many tourists who love the nature, the historic sites of the Celts and Romans, the old towns like Trier, Metz or Nancy and the open air festivals as well as the sports events.

I myself like best the annual international meeting of the Hot-Air-Balloonists, who regularly lead their hundreds of colorful globes over the village, cheering and waving.

And another wandering happens every year here, short before the freeze-up of the winter.That is the time when hundreds and thousands of cranes are flying trumpeting from North- East- Europe and Russia towards their winter habitats in Southern France, Spain and North - Africa.

I love to receive any type of post card you want to send.
Cards in envelopes are very welcome as well.

Science, Music, Art, Comics, Impressions, Portaits, Nonsense, whatever you like.

If you do not know what to write just say "Hello" in your mother tongue or tell me about your everyday life, your hobbies or simply about the weather at your place.
