About Monique...

* please! If the card isn't scanned, I realy forgot it! will you do it for me please?! Thnx!

Hi,

I'm Monique, living in the Netherlands in a little town with my husband, daughter (2008) and son (2011). They are my pride and joy :-)

In my spare-time I like to surf on the internet, writing in general (but most of all blogs and haiku's), reading, boardgames, and so on.

A friend of mine told about postcrossing and I was fascinated and curious! Receiving mail from around the world! Amazing!

The kind of card doesn't really matter; I think it's great just to get one from you!!!, but I am not so fond of touristcards ,anne geddes cards, moomin (sorry!) handmade cards (except foodpackages/foodcartons!!!) or photocards of animals.

Zen or spiritual cards, (children's books )illustrations , colourfull, photo-art, optical illusions, fat ladies art by El van Leersum, Baboesjka's/matrousjka (drawings/illustrations), Gorjuss, Silke Leffler, searchcards like waldo/lali/etc., verbs/words/poems in your language (please translate @ the back of the card), boardgames, charactercards from Taiwan, pastry/high tea cards, stones, foodpackages from your country (just cut @ postcardsize) and 'the world' are more interesting to me.You can take a peak @ my favourites to get an idea.

But if it's that one card at the bottum of the pile it's allright too ;)

Most of all I'm curious who sends the card and what drives you (in life/sending cards/your work/your sport and so on), it also might be your darkest secret or the biggest wish you'd ever had, the recipe of your favourite dish , what you did that day, or just a good joke is allright too ;) I love the written part as much as the card itself, maybe even more!I like cards @ postcardsize and did I mention written on ;). No need for an envelope.

Love it when you'll write something in your language with translation :)for example 'the Netherlands'/ 'Holland' in your own language/characters.

Excited what I'll find @ my doorstep!
Happy postcrossing!
Monique

p.s. everytime we see the mail(wo)man or hear the mailbox, it's a little surpriseparty to us. (I started postcrossing, but in the meanwhile my hubs and daughter are just as excited as I am :) )
So,in advance :thnx for your card!

Postcrossing is not 'just sending cards', it's putting smiles on faces worldwide! @mnq75
