PLEASE NO CHRISTMAS/EASTER CARDS!

I collect photo postcards for years.
I also enjoy writing cards. I'm sending postcards to my friends a lot.

The main reason I joined postcrossing is to receive more cards for my room. As I will see (some of) them every day, it's important for me to get cards I like.
I hope you'll respect my wishes (I usually make an effort to meet the wishes of postcrossers I’m sending cards to):

• I prefer colourful photo postcards showing beautiful landscape, ancient or important buildings or famous places.
• Please do NOT send blank or free/advertise cards, cards with art (photography/drawings/paintings/mangas), flowers or common animals (like cats/dogs).
(I definitely won't be happy about cards like that.)
• I prefer cards with just one photo (single view) and little layout (borders, text).
• No envelopes, please.
• Please, if available, use beautiful/various stamps and an „AirMail/prioritaire“ sticker.
• If your native language is one of those I know, please write your message in this language (instead of English).
• Please recommend me (pop) music or (fantasy) literature from your country!

Private postcard swaps are welcome from international postcrossers.
Except from my region including Speyer (Romanesque Cathedral) and Trier (Porta Nigra), sites of UNESCO World Heritage, I have also a few cards from France, Switzerland (Tre castelli di Bellinzona, also UNESCO), the city of Luxembourg (UNESCO site) and Italy „in stock“.

About me:
I'm a Protestant (Christian) theologian from Neustadt/Weinstraße, a town with 55000 inhabitants in Palatinate (Pfalz) in Southwest Germany near the French border.
I worked as a youth worker at the YMCA, now I'm working in youth welfare/care.
I like fantasy books (esp. those of Diana Wynne Jones) which I usually read in English. I like European pop/rock music, e.g. Gianna Nannini, Marie Fredriksson, Mylène Farmer, Indica, … and 80s pop music.
Other hobbies are: Wasting time on the internet, visiting TEN SING concerts, film français, languages, choir, filming & photography, travelling (in Europe, mostly to France, Switzerland, Italy), …
