I have a wife and a lovely one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, I teach medicine at a university (and practice it as well), and what little free time I have is generally devoted to music, programming, cycling, and reading (chiefly science fiction). I play ukulele a little and enjoy playing music with friends much more than doing it on my own, since cooperation and dialogue make music (and most other activities) so much more rich and enjoyable, and besides, I'm not a real musician to do good by myself.

I really enjoy any postcard you choose to send. I used to have some preferences listed here, but it turns out there are too many awesome cards I'd never even think about, so just feel free to send whichever card you please.

If you're out of ideas for what to write on a postcard, I'd appreciate your advice on a good book to read or some good music to listen to ("There are two kinds of music: good music and the other kind", as Duke Ellington has put it, so any styles and genres are welcome, same applies to books). Naturally, if you have other things to write in mind, you are more than welcome to.
