About mussica...
hello,
Im 21, and i haven't received a postcard from anyone so far. today, when people say "communication," it's being on internet or phone comes to mind. that kind of communication is untouchable, nonresistant.. on the other hand, i think letters and postcards have their own existence with their smell, shape.. you can touch, feel them. they give you the reality of relationships, and also the feeling of importance since the writer of a postcard should spare time for writing to you. also, the postcard cant be copy and paste to share with lots of recipients. it should be unique with the handwriting, the feelings of the sender...
if somebody writes a postcard/letter to anyone, it means she/he values on the other. because she/he have to choose a post card (the design, color, photo on it), the pen with which they write, the words (because there is no way to use the same post card, if you write wrong); they have to go to post office to send it (unlike to write an email on their seat, they have to spend effort)...
world gradually becomes fast. everything on internet in moments.. we can jump from a site to another, from a knowledge to another.. even our lifestyles are changing fastly.. we stop to think deeply, to read poems, books, magazins.. even we forget to stay on our own, as in the times we think we are lonely we are not alone actually, because we rush into our computers, Facebooks, etc.
on my name, i want to stop time, i dont want to be in a rush. i dont want to keep in step with speedy world..i want to wait.. wait a post card, for example.. while waiting i will read poems :)
who wants to share the taste of waiting a post card from anyone?
