About Gloria...

Hello,
My name is Gloria. I live in Indiana. I'm 82 years old and a retired secretary after 30 years at our local high school. I have two grown childen, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. I am fortunate that all of my family live close by. I have a cat named Sweet Pea who is a great companion and great entertainment. I am so happy that my granddaughter introduced me to Postcrossing and am looking forward to receiving cards.

My hobbies and interests are reading, using my computer, scrapbooking,embroidering, working jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, going to casinos, attending auction sales and yard sales,spending time at the local senior center with friends and being a member of The Red Hat Society.

I have many collections - miniature shoes and miniature oil lamps both in curio cabinets, ornamental bird houses that decorate my front porch, advertising tins on shelves in my kitchen, Teddy bears, playing cards and paper dolls. Have had to stop collecting because my shelves and two curio cabinets are full but still look for unusual and antique paper dolls.

I would particularly like to receive postcards showing points of interest in the area where you live such as churches, schools, government buildings,etc. I would also love to receive cards with pictures of cats and funny or unusual cards. But I will appreciate any and all cards that I receive. Tell me about yourself - your interests, hobbies,family,and pets.
