About Mateusz...

I study Computer Science at Gdańsk University of Technology in northern Poland. As I live about 20 miles from Gdańsk, I commute daily, so a significant part of my live is being spent on board of trains.

During my free time, I like to read books, find out how things work or write code (that's why I'm studying CS). I also like to travel, both in my country and abroad (so far, I've been to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine - I hope I'll be able to extend that list in future) - as I'm still a student, most likely the low-cost way.

My hometown - Tczew - is located about 20 miles from the Baltic Sea. About 60 thousand people live here. Its name is hard to pronounce even for some Poles.

I think Postcrossing is a great idea and I really like sending and receiving postcards to/from anywhere in the world.

Any postcard, including ad cards and handmade cards are welcome. There are, of course, some cards that are the most welcome, you can find some samples in my favourites. I happen to like cards that are connected to your region/country. If you have any specific idea how to make your postcard unique, just do it, no matter how weird it is :) If you happen to be sending the card in an envelope, how about putting a small coin (the lowest found in your country or any you have in your wallet) inside?

You can add something about your favourite local (or national) radio station, if you listen to any. If you happen to have any strange hobbies, don't forget to mention it.

I'd love to hear some local music artists recommended by you, so write some names if you listen to any.
