Hey folks :)
I'm Anne and a university student from Germany, currently studying (English/Russian/History on a teachers degree) and living in Heidelberg in Southern Germany. I like travelling, history, foreign languages and photography. I've been to quite a few places within Europe, but have also lived in New Zealand, Nepal, and Northern Ireland so far. My favourite travel destinations include the Balkans, Iceland, Central Asia and Australasia. :)
As for what kinds of postcards I like - bascially any. As long as it's something particular about your country, I will be more than happy to receive your card!
I'd be particularly happy about..
- sceneries and countrysides of your homecountry
- cityscapes
- local people (indigenous, city life, country folks, ..)
- anything Gaelic and/or Irish in general (Guinness!)
- Northern Lights
- famous/historical people of your country
- All Blacks and rugby in general
I'd prefer not to receive any ad cards, thank you. Also, I'm a huge fan of international stamps - not collecting them as of yet, but who knows what the future might bring..!
You can write in either English, Russian or Bulgarian, but as I'm a language aficionado, any foreign language snippets (and a wee translation, please!) will be happily received! :)
