Hello dear postcrossers,

My name is Elina.

I´m 43 years young optimistic person who loves nature, animals and outdoor life.
My hobbies are writing (pen pal), reading,cooking, outdoor activities with my dogs, travelling, collect special stamps and postcards all over the big world.

I like all kind of cards but specially nature, landscapes, animals and wiews/culture your city/village/country which you live.

I have 5 arctic dogs (Siberian Husky), two crazy cats and aquarium.
I adore Siberian Huskies. They´re big part of my life and keeps me busy.

I really love getting mail from all around the world. Getting a postcard from you can be a good way to see the world and every postcard is my window to the world!

Here is something which I love:

- Siberian Huskies (or other arctic sleddogs)
- thunder
- mountains
- sunsets/sunrises
- waterfalls
- moon
- sea
- hiking
- skiing
- wilderness
- aurora borealis (northern lights)
- winter and autumn
- famous/ beautiful place from your country
- Canterbury, Kent, England
- Alaska
- The Royal Family from UK
- Olympic Games
- Titanic (only the ship, not movie)

And show/write me why life should be lived!

I also like postcards suitably certain festivities as Christmas, Easter, Valentine´s Day for example. Or maybe a certain holiday from your native country which there is not in Finland at all.

My birthday is April 22th, so it would be nice to receive a birthday card then from your country.

It´s up to you. I love to get lots and lots of mail. Suprise me!

But I do NOT like that postcards so much:

- advertisement/free
- black & white
- boring monuments
- old/vintage
- butterflies
- modern art
Although I´m sure they are lovely, they would be best sent to someone who would appreciate them, thanks!

And I`m also interesting in the person behind the card, so if you like tell me little bit about yourself. Or tell me what you will tell to your best friend!

It´s exiting to open the mailbox every day awaiting YOUR postcard!
Finding a postcard or a letter in my mailbox just makes me smile and dream.

P.S. I always try to send other people cards from their wish lists, so I hope you will do the same for me!

P.S. If your card is not registered in time, please feel free and ask me for it. Because I usually register every postcard which I receive it, as fast as I can. So if I don´t register it, I guess it was lost.
