I am an English teacher from the US (Michigan, Texas, California and South Carolina) who loves to travel and has been collecting postcards for years and years. I now live in the UAE and am happy to participate in direct swaps.
PLEASE NOTE: It takes a LONG time for mail to arrive, and longer still for me to collect it. I probably DID receive your postcard, but it hasn't actually arrived to my home yet. Please allow 4-6 weeks between when you sent the postcard and when I register it before you check with me to see where it has gone. That's just the nature of the system here!
I have lived in several countries and visited more. Since I am a terrible photographer, I collect postcards of places I've visited and places I'd like to go!
As to postcards - I love all of them. Landscapes, people, art, handmade. I prefer unusual postcards to tourist postcards...but I am quite happy with any and every postcard that comes my way! Just be aware, I live in a conservative country, It is very important that any postcards sent to me are "appropriate". Please choose your postcards with a conservative eye.
