an artist and stamp collector currently residing in round rock, TX.

i am a native of the "star city of the south" now living in the "lone star state" so it is perhaps predestined that i have an interest in astronomy and cosmology.

i primarily collect astronomy themed stamps (and postcards) but also have keen interests in petroglyphs and ancient arts, cultural artifacts, etc. so any cards that have images from space and archaeoastronomy as a theme would be especially prized - however, given my interest in art, suffice it to say that cards featuring arts of all forms (from the ancient to the modern) would make welcome additions to my postcard collection.

i also enjoy items featuring aquatic life. those depicting whales are always welcome but i am especially fond of the often colorful and varied forms of soft-bodied animals (octopi, anemones, nudibranches, etc.)

cards that feature comic book super heroes would also make welcome additions to my modest, but growing collection.

i do read the profiles of those i have been paired with and try to select a card that fits your interests. if i do not possess a direct match then i try to find some tangential connection either with a card and/or the stamps i use on them. occasionally i come across a profile that is very sparse with regard to providing clues to help me select a card. in those instances i will explore the kinds of cards they have selected as "favorites" and if that does not help, then i will choose a card that i enjoy and hope that the recipient will share in that enjoyment. i also very much enjoy exploring the interconnectedness of things which at the surface appear unrelated.

the above represent my current primary areas of interest but i am not beyond collecting items on a purely aesthetic basis. i would be honored to receive any card that you might decide to send.
