About Thomas...

Hi there!

My name is Thomas and I'm from the little country called The Netherlands. The city I live in (Enschede) is a medium sized town in a region called Twente. It's a city of students and I'm a student myself, studying mediapsychology.

My hobbies are dancing (ballroom, latin), photographing, videographing, travelling, playing squash and play games with others (like boardgames, or a quiz in a pub). Also, I'm fond of growing my own vegetables and fruit, as long as they can survive the wet and sunless conditions of the Dutch climate. :)

I'm living in a house with my brother, a cute little black cat called "Poedie" and the garden is occupied by three chickens; "Jos", "Nkuvoet" and "Ien". Sometimes people tell me I have a strange taste of music. I can really enjoy (mainly German and Dutch) folklore music when doing the dishes; it makes doing the dishes more fun!

Whenever possible, I like to go out and travel. My favorite destinations so far were Russia, Italy, USA and Sweden. But I must admit, I have a huge list of places I still have to visit. ;)

I'm very curious to what you'll send me! I'm fond of all kinds of cards! I would be extra thankful for cards with cats on it (or drawings of them!), landscapes of your region, famous people of your country (they don't have to be internationally known) or just weird cards! And I am also a very big fan of Findus & Pettson! Also, if you've got a card that you'll think suits my personality, I'd be happy to receive it! :)
Oh, did I mention I can really appreciate nice stamps?

If possible, no free cards, altered animalphotos (e.g. an artificially smiling horse) or cards in an envelope (unless handmade).

Oh, and feel free to write me in German or French! I can understand them and if one of them is your mother language, why bother writing in English? ;)
