Hello to everybody all over the world!

I'm Lothar, a retired cartographer from Dresden, and I'm glad to be a member of the community of postcrossers.

When I was a little boy, I wanted to get a locomotive-driver (like lots of boys) to see a lot of landscapes...That did not happen, but there remained the interest in everything, what happens in the world. Because of my healthy situation(cancer) I´m not able to travel in foreign contries. So I like this possibility to send and receive postcards.

Every card you send is welcome, but most of all I like to receive postcards of

- railways (steamlocomotives,trains,stations,lines,bridges)
- buildings/landscapes of your contry
- sights of your town and contry
- World Heritage of the UNESCO
- framework-houses, art nouveau
- aurora borealis (northern lights)

...and I collect stamps of these themes,too.

I received a lot of demaged postcards. So if it is not a higher price, please send your postcard in an envelope.
